MDS Digital specialises in plantroom layout and design. We can take a plantroom from the initial conceptual schematic design and layout, through to detailed design and the production of pipework spools and mechanical construction documentation.

Our experience in plantroom design throughout the BIM life cycle ensures our plantrooms are designed to maximise real estate for the architect, whilst ensuring the design is fit for purpose for the consultant engineers. Our efficient designs reduce material costs for the contractors whilst also ensuring adequate space for access and maintenance for the end clients and users.

We can design pipework and layout equipment for prefabrication, installation and testing offsite, further reducing costs and programme duration.

As part of the digital engineering and BIM management services we offer we can also act as lead coordinator in these service heavy areas and manage the clash detection and model management across all services.

After the installation and commissioning stage we offer SCAN2BIM services for final positional verification of the installation. We can also prepare the models we produce for asset management and onwards to FM/Digital twin status.
